Theological college

As the communities in Northern Uganda, Congo and Southern Sudan rebuild following decades of conflict, the theological college has continued to train the necessary leaders who are available to minister and support at all times. The college currently offer diploma and certificate courses in the following:

  1. Theology
  2. Counselling
  3. Chaplaincy
  4. Child Development
The college remains in significant need of financial support and the Trust would welcome partnership opportunities from any individual or organisation.

The Trust has partnered with the Bobi community for more than two decades. St Peter’s church was built with full funding from the Trust.  The church remains at the heart of the Bobi  community offering Christian as well as educational services to people of all age groups. In recent years, the Trust’s activities have been in the following areas:

  1. provision of clean drinking water – ensuring there’s a functional borehole
  2. education – offering financial support to the local primary school

Women’s Development Centre

The Women Development Centre started in the 1980’s and since then it has trained over 300 women in tailoring, secretarial work, hairdressing as well as functional adult literacy.
The Trust has from time to made contributions to the work of the Women’s Development Centre

Education

As well as the Theological College the Trust has supported the education of the clergy e.g. at post graduate level as well children of the clergy.
The decades of war in Northern Uganda has left the once vibrant economy on it’s knees and with limited governmental support, poverty levels remain the highest in the country.
Given the state of the local economy, resources are severely lacking and we welcome the opportunity to partner with individuals and organisation is supporting the educational needs of people in the great lakes region.
